Revoking the Vesting in the Mount Wellington Road Board of Part of a Quarry Reserve, Suburbs of Auckland, North Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of an area vested in the Mount Wellington Road Board, in trust, for quarry purposes, by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and published in Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of that month, in pursuance of section four of the Public Reserves Act, 1881, but a certificate of title has not been issued in respect of the said reserve:

And whereas it is expedient that the said Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, and the Mount Wellington Road Board has duly consented to such revocation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council hereinbefore referred to in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, being part of Allotment 61 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 27·1 perches, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the westernmost corner of Allotment 60, of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland, towards the west generally by the Great South Road, 40·65 links, to the southernmost corner of other part of Allotment 61 aforesaid, containing 2 acres 3 roods 5·8 perches; thence towards the north-west and south-west generally by the last-mentioned part of Allotment 61, 672·17 links, 349·39 links, and 397·53 links, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 11 of Allotment 3 of Hamlin’s Grant; thence towards the north-west by the said Lot 11, 235·48 links, to the north-western boundary of Allotment 60 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; thence towards the north-east, south-east, and south generally by the aforementioned Allotment 60, 745 links, 227·54 links, 128·02 links, 790·26 links, and 362·55 links, to the point of commencement: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/503A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan 24799, blue.)

Recreation Reserves in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Tirau Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Tirau Domain Board.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 12, Block II, Patetere North Survey District; bounded towards the north by a public road, 310·3 links; towards the east by Section 11 (Tirau Domain), Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 100 links; towards the south by Lot 1 of Section 2, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 279·4 links; towards the west by Lot 2 of Section 12, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 104·7 links.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 2, Block II, Patetere North Survey District; bounded towards the north by Lot 1 of Section 12, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 279·4 links; towards the east by Section 11 (Tirau Domain), Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 987·2 links; towards the south by Section 3, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 306·3 links; towards the west by Lot 2 of Section 2, Block II, Patetere North Survey District, 993·7 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/337A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of April, 1929.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Morven Domain.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—MORVEN DOMAIN.

RESERVE 3596, Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 60 acres, more or less.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—WAIKAKAHI DOMAIN.

RESERVE 3459, Morven Township, Block VII, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and fifty-eight of the Harbours Act, 1923 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that where the foreshore outside the limits of a harbour is not vested in any Harbour Board or other local authority the Governor-General may by Order in Council grant, for a period not exceeding twenty-one years,
