THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
[No 26
easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 30B, 46,
and 45, Block II aforesaid, to a road forming the western
boundaries of Lots 13 and 12, on plan 172A, deposited as
aforesaid; thence northerly along that road to the north-
western corner of Lot 12 aforesaid; thence easterly along the
northern boundaries of Lots 12 and 11 on plan 172A aforesaid
and the northern boundaries of Sections 4S and 5S, Allenby
Settlement, to the Opio Stream; thence up the Opio Stream
to its intersection with the road forming the north-eastern
boundaries of Sections 18 and 28, Aparima Hundred; thence
south-easterly along that road and its production to the middle
of the Aparima or Jacobs River; thence up the middle of
that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary
of Lot 5 on plan 238, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Invercargill; thence to and along that
boundary to the easternmost corner of the said Lot 5; thence
south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots
5, 6, 7, and 8, to the northernmost corner of Lot 9 on the
said plan 238; thence south-easterly and south-westerly
along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 9
aforesaid to the road forming the north-eastern boundary
of Lot 1 on plan 2376, deposited as aforesaid; thence south-
easterly along the north-eastern side of that road to a point
in line with the south-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1;
thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the
southernmost corner of the said Lot 1; thence along the
south-western boundary of the said Lot 1 to the easternmost
corner of Lot 2 on plan 2376 aforesaid; thence along the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 2 aforesaid and the south-
eastern boundaries of Lots 66B and 66A on plan 474 (red),
deposited as aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of the said
Lot 66A; thence along the southern boundaries of the said
Lot 66A and Lot 20 on plan 239, deposited as aforesaid, to the
Aparima or Jacobs River; thence along the production of
the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of that river and
down the middle of the said river to a point in line with the
northern boundary of Section 5, Block II, Aparima Hundred;
thence to and along that boundary to the main road; thence
down that road to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of Lot 19, on plan 120, deposited as aforesaid;
thence to and along that boundary to the north-western
corner of the said lot; thence northerly and westerly along the
eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 20 of the aforesaid
plan No. 120; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern
and northern boundaries of Lot 72; thence northerly along
the road forming the eastern boundaries of Lots 71, 17, 16,
and 15, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned
lot; thence westerly along the road forming the northern
boundary of the said Lot 15 to the south-western corner of
Lot 13; thence northerly along the western boundary of
Lot 13 aforesaid to the road forming the south-eastern bound-
aries of Original Sections 9, 10 and 11, Block III, Aparima
Hundred; thence by that road to the southernmost corner
of the said Section 11; thence north-westerly along the road
forming the western boundary of original Sections 11, 42, 41,
and 40, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned
section; thence north-easterly along the road forming the
northern boundary of the said Section 40 to its north-eastern
corner; thence northerly along the road forming the eastern
boundaries of Sections 39 and 38 to the southern boundary
of Section 37; thence westerly along that boundary to a public
road forming the western boundary of Sections 37, 36B, and
36A, Block III aforesaid, Sections 29, 31A, 31, 32, 33, 34, 34A,
across a public road, Sections 35, 36, 37, 38, and 39, to the
north-western corner of the said Section 39, the place of
commencement.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
OTAUTAU TOWN DISTRICT SUBDIVISION.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District bounded
towards the north by Section No. 14, Block II, Aparima
Hundred, from the Otautau River to the railway reserve, and
the southern boundary of that section produced across the
railway reserve; thence towards the south-west by the said
railway reserve to a point in line with the southern boundary
of Section No. 15, Block II aforesaid; thence again towards
the north by a right line across a road to and by the southern
boundary of the said Section No. 15 to the middle of the
Aparima River; thence towards the east generally by the
Aparima River to a point in line with the northern boundary
of Section No. 5, Block II, Aparima Hundred; thence to and
along that boundary to the main road; thence down that
road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 19
on plan 129, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Invercargill; thence across that road and by the
northern boundary of said Lot 19 and by Lot 20 to a point
in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 72 of the said plan
120; and thence towards the west generally by a right line
across a public road and by Lots 72 and 71, plan 120, and
Sections 2 and 11, Block II, Aparima Hundred, and the east-
ern boundary of the last-mentioned section produced across
the Otautau Stream; and thence by the Otautau Stream to
the place of commencement.
WAIKOURO SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on
the south by the Otautau Town District Subdivision, herein-
before described; on the west by the river district boundaries
from the Otautau Town District to the north-eastern corner
of Section 38, Block III, Aparima Hundred; thence northerly
along that road to the north-western corner of Section 49;
thence easterly along the northern boundary of that section to
the Otautau Stream; thence by that stream to a public road,
across that road, and thence easterly, northerly, easterly,
and southerly generally by the river district boundaries to
the Otautau - Wrey's Bush Road; thence south-westerly
along that road to the Otautau Town District, the place of
commencement.
SCOTT'S GAP SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on
the south-east by the Waikouro Subdivision, hereinbefore
described, and on the south, west, north, and east by the river
district boundaries.
BAYSWATER SUBDIVISION.
All that area in the Southland Land District bounded on
the north-west by the Waikouro Subdivision, hereinbefore
described, and the river district boundaries, and on the north-
east, south-east, and south-west by the river district bound-
aries.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
April, 1929.

in City of Christchurch.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS a petition, publicly notified, has been pre-
sented to me under section one hundred and thirty-
four of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, by the Council
of the City of Christchurch, praying me to alter the boundaries
of the City of Christchurch so as to include therein the piece
of land described in the Schedule hereto, being land, in respect
of which there are no electors, adjacent to the said city:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said
Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of
the said city are hereby altered so as to include within the
limits of the said city the land described in the said Schedule
hereto, being land in respect of which there are no electors,
adjacent to the said city.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point in the middle of Moorhouse
Avenue in line with the south-eastern side of Lincoln Road;
thence to and along the south-eastern side of Lincoln Road
to the left bank of the Heathcote River; thence along the
left bank of the Heathcote River to a point in line with the
middle of Lincoln Road; thence by a line along the middle
of Lincoln Road to the middle of Moorhouse Avenue; thence
easterly along the middle of Moorhouse Avenue to the point
of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, this 16th day of
April, 1929.
