To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District, at Thames.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Thames, a body corporate having its registered office at Thames, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 11 a.m. on 2nd March, 1929.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points: Omahu Stream, commencing at Dam as shown on plan.
Length and intended course of race: 102 chains.
Points of intake: 2 miles 5 chains east main highway.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Three months.
Mean depth and breadth: 6 in. pipes.
Number of heads to be diverted: One.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Domestic water-supply.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.
