NOTICE is hereby given that the final meeting of the shareholders of the company will be held at the offices of Messrs. Anderson, Bicknell, and Co., 213 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Monday, 15th April, 1929, at 3 o’clock p.m.

To receive Liquidator’s report on the winding-up of the company.
To instruct the Liquidator as to the disposal of the books and papers of the company.

AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifteen hundred pounds (£1,500), authorized to be raised by the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling and re-forming the following roads within the Akaroa and Wainui Road District:—
- Portion of Long Bay Road (110 chains) .. 220
- Portion of Hickory Road (200 chains) .. 400
- Portion of Gough’s Bay Road (143 chains) .. 300
- Fisherman’s Bay and Paua Bay Roads (284 chains) .. .. .. .. 580
£1,500
the said Akaroa and Wainui Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3/89ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Akaroa and Wainui Road District, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
