Block V, Whareorino Survey District, along the northern boundaries of Kinohaku West G 1c 2B, and G 1c 2B 1, the western boundary of the last-named block, and the southern boundary of Kinohaku West G 1c 2A, to the point of commencement.
Awakino Riding.
All that area in the Waitomo County bounded, commencing at the mouth of the Mokau River, on the west by the sea, on the north by the Paemako Riding hereinbefore described, to the eastern boundary of Section 11, Block IX, Maungamangero Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 11, Sections 8 and 9, Block VIII, Whareorino Survey District, Sections 5, 7, 9, and 10, Block XI, Whareorino Survey District, Sections 4 and 2, Block II, Awakino North Survey District, the northern and eastern boundaries of Section 3, Block IV, Awakino North Survey District, the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Awakino North Survey District; thence along the northern and eastern boundaries of Mahoenui No. 6, the northern and eastern boundaries of Mangaawakino No. 1A, and the northern boundaries of Mangapapa B 2, to the Mokau River; thence down that river to the point of commencement.
Mahoenui Riding.
All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the north and on the east by Paemako Riding, hereinbefore described, and the Mokau River; on the south by the Mokau River; and on the west by the Awakino Riding hereinbefore described.
Te Kuiti Riding.
All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the north commencing at the westernmost corner of the Te Kuiti Borough by the said Te Kuiti Borough and Hangatiki Riding as hereinbefore described, on the east by the county boundary to the southern boundary of Rangitoto A 31B; thence south-westerly along that boundary, the southern boundary of a piece of Crown land, along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 36A 2C 8, the southern and south-western boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 36A 2C 7, to the Mokau River; thence down that river to the southern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 68F 3A; thence along that boundary and the southern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 68F 3B, along the eastern boundaries of Sections 4 and 7, Block IV, Mapara Survey District, the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 1, Block VIII, Mapara Survey District, to the Mapara Road, along that road and the northern boundary of Section 4, Block III, Mapara Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 72B 3A; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 72B 3A and 72B 2, the southern boundary of Rangitoto-Tuhua 72B 1B 1B, the southern and western boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 72B 2, and the western boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 72B 3B and 72B 3D to the Mapara Stream, and down that stream to Section 4, Block V, Mapara Survey District; thence bounded on the west by Paemako and Mairoa Ridings, hereinbefore described, to the point of commencement.
Aria Riding.
All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the south by the county boundary, on the west by Mahoenui Riding hereinbefore described, on the north by the Paemako and Te Kuiti Ridings hereinbefore described, to Rangitoto-Tuhua 72B 1A; thence along the western boundary of the said 72B 1A, the western boundaries of Sections 3S, 6S, 7S, 2, and 11S, Block VII, Mapara Survey District; along the eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block VIII, Totoro Survey District; Section 3, Block XII, Totoro Survey District; Rangitoto-Tuhua 61J, 61J 6, and 61K; along the southern boundary of the last-named block; along the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61P, Section 1A 61P, Section 2B 61D, Section 2A and 61D, Section 2B, along the southern boundary of the last-named block to the county boundary.
Tangitu Riding.
All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the north by the Te Kuiti Riding hereinbefore described, on the north-east and south by the county boundary, and on the west by the Aria Riding hereinbefore described.
As required by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedule is a correct description of the proposed alterations of boundaries of ridings in the Waitomo County, and is sufficient to render the new boundaries capable of identification as indicated by coloured borders on the lithos. submitted by the Waitomo County Council.

This special order was duly made at a special meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on Friday, the 9th day of November, 1928, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council held on Friday, the 14th day of December, 1928.

Special Order made by the Waitotara County Council altering Riding Boundaries, and adjusting Representation.

THE following special order made by the Waitotara County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.
Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix the 31st day of March, 1929, as the date from which such special order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER.
WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Altering Riding Boundaries and adjusting Representation.
RESOLUTIONS.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Act, 1920, the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves by way of special order, as follows:—
- That the existing division of the County of Waitotara into four Ridings of Brunswick, Waitotara, Westmere, and Tokomaru be revoked, and in lieu thereof the county be re-divided into four separate ridings to be called, respectively,—
Brunswick-Westmere Riding.
Waitotara Riding.
Mosston Riding.
Tokomaru Riding.

Each of such ridings shall consist of the area of land within the respective boundaries set out in the Schedule hereto.

This special order shall take effect on a date to be fixed in that behalf by the Minister of Internal Affairs, and notified in the Gazette.

The Waitotara County Council shall consist of nine councillors, who shall be elected as follows: The electors of the Brunswick-Westmere Riding shall elect four councillors; the electors of the Waitotara Riding shall elect three councillors; and the electors of the Mosston and Tokomaru Ridings shall each elect one councillor.
Brunswick Westmere Riding.
All that area in the Waitotara County bounded generally towards the east and south by the county boundary from a point in the middle of the Wanganui River opposite the north-east corner of Tauwhare Block, Block IX, Waipakura Survey District, to the eastern corner of Lot 34, part Sections 12, 8C, and 81, Block V, Westmere Survey District, and shown on plan 2675, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence generally north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of said Lot 34, Montgomery Road, and the Heads-Mosston Highway to the north-eastern boundary of Section 227, Block V, Westmere Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the said boundary-line of said Section 227 to the county boundary; thence generally north-westerly along the county boundary to the mouth of the Kai Iwi Stream, situated in Block XV, Nukumaru Survey District; thence north-easterly along the middle of the Kai Iwi Stream to the south-western boundary of Subdivision 6A of Kai Iwi 6F Block; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-west and north-west boundaries of said Subdivision 6A and north-west boundary of Subdivision 6B of Kai Iwi 6F Block and the north-west and north-east boundaries of Kai Iwi 6G Block to the middle of the Kai Iwi Stream; thence north-easterly along the middle of the Kai Iwi and Karemu Streams, the north-west boundaries of Rangitatatu No. 1B Block, Runs 27A and 26A, and Lots 1 and 2 of plan 4471,
