Waitotara Riding.
All that area in the Waitotara County bounded generally
towards the south and west by the county boundary from
the mouth of the Kai Iwi Stream situated in Block XV,
Nukumaru Survey District, to the Pakira Trig. Station,
situated in Block XV, Momohaki Survey District; thence
generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the south-
west boundary of the Manganui-o-Tahu Block, the north-west
boundaries of Runs 26A and 27A, and Rangitatau No. 1B
Block to the middle of the Karemu Stream; thence generally
south-westerly along the middle of the Karemu and Kai Iwi
Streams to the north-east boundary of Kai Iwi 6G Block;
thence generally south-westerly along the north-east and
north-west boundaries of Kai Iwi 6G Block, the north-west
boundary of Subdivision 6B of the Kai Iwi 6F Block, and the
north-west and south-west boundaries of Subdivision 6A of
Kai Iwi 6F Block to the middle of the Kai Iwi Stream; thence
along the middle of the Kai Iwi Stream to the point of com-
mencement.
Mosston Riding.
All that area in the Waitotara County bounded generally
towards the east and south by the county boundary from
the eastern corner of Lot 34 of plan 2675, deposited in the
office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, to the
north-east boundary of Section 227, Block V, Westmere
Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the
boundary of said Section 227 to the Heads-Mosston High-
way; thence north-easterly along the said highway and the
Montgomery Road to the north-east corner of aforesaid Lot 34;
thence south-easterly along the north-east boundary of said
Lot 34 to the point of commencement.
Tokomaru Riding.
All that area in the Waitotara County bounded generally
towards the north-west, south-east, east, and south by the
county boundary from Pakira Trig. Station situated in
Block XV, Momohaki Survey District, to a point in the middle
of the Wanganui River opposite the north-east corner of
Tauwhare Block, Block IX, Waipakura Survey District;
thence to the said corner and along the north-western
boundary of the said Tauwhare Block and north-eastern
boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Waipakura, to the Tokomaru
East Road; thence generally north-westerly along the
Tokomaru East Road to the southern boundary of Section 21,
Block V, Waipakura Survey District; thence easterly and
northerly along the south and east boundary of said Section 21
and the south boundary of Run 30 to the Mangaiti Stream;
thence north-westerly along the said stream to and along the
south boundary of the Kauarapaoa Block to the north-west
boundary of Lot 1 of plan 7113, deposited in the office of the
District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence along the
north-western boundary of said Lot 1 and north-eastern and
north-western boundaries of the said Kauarapaoa Block to
the north-eastern corner of Lot 1 of plan 4471, deposited in
the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington;
thence generally in a south-westerly and north-westerly
direction along the north-western boundary of said Lot 1,
D.P. 4471, and the south-western boundary of Manganui-o-
Tahu Block to the Pakira Trig. Station, the point of com-
mencement.

Time and Place of the First Meeting of the Fireblight Com-
mitee of the Hawke’s Bay District appointed.—(Notice No.
Ag. 2771.)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon
me by the Fireblight Committee Regulations, 1928,
under the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, George William Forbes,
Minister of Agriculture, hereby appoint 6.45 p.m., on Friday,
the 18th day of January, 1929, as the time, and the Hawke’s
Bay Fruitgrowers’ Building, Hastings, as the place, for
holding the first meeting of the Fireblight Committee of
the Hawke’s Bay District established pursuant to the said
regulations.

Regulations as to Drainage and Plumbing under the Health
Act, 1920, applied to certain Areas.—(H. 2/119.)

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the 3rd
day of September, 1923, and gazetted on the 6th
day of the same month, regulations (to be cited as “the
Drainage and Plumbing Regulations”) were made under the
Health Act, 1920, prescribing the conditions to be observed
in the construction of approved drains, septic tanks, sani-
tary conveniences, and sanitary appliances :
And whereas by the said regulations it was provided that
the same were suspended as provided in the said Act :
And whereas by section 133 of the said Act it is enacted
that the operation of any such regulations may, if so pro-
vided therein, be wholly suspended until they are applied
by the Minister by notice in the Gazette to any part of New
Zealand :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur John Stallworthy, Minister o
Health, in exercise of the power and authority given by the
said regulations and by section 133 of the said Act, do hereby
apply the said regulations to the—
Borough of Birkenhead,
Borough of Winton, and the
County of Waiapu,
and do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the
1st day of February, 1929.
