Situated between the Taumarunui Main Road and the Whakapapa River, three miles and a half from the Owhanga Township and a quarter of a mile from Oio Railway-station, by metalled road. Level to easy rolling country, suitable for dairying. Bush has been milled. Soil comprises light quality volcanic mixture resting on clay and papa formation. Elevation, 1,600 ft. Section is watered by streams.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section nine of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the reservation as an endowment for education purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and do hereby vest the said land in the Corporation of the City of Auckland, in trust, for municipal purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Allotment 223 of Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 6/2/3 (c), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of March, 1929.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection one (b) of section sixteen of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the reservation as an endowment for education purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and do hereby vest the said land in the Corporation of the City of Auckland, in trust, for the purposes of public recreation.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Allotment 30 of Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/2/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 4·8 perches, more or less, being Lot 18 on deposited plan No. 10535, and being portion of Allotment 83, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 6/2/3 (a) deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection one (d) of section sixteen of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the reservation as an endowment for education purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and do hereby vest the said land in the Corporation of the City of Auckland, in trust, as a catchment area for water-supply purposes.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 246 acres, more or less, being Allotment 63, Parish of Karangahape. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 6/2/3 (b), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of March, 1929.

Postmasters appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.

PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 2 (2) of the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1928, I, Philip Aldborough de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize

to be Issuing Officers for the purpose of issuing licenses to fish for trout under the Taupo Trout-fishing Regulations, 1928.
