Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of
the Hautu No. 3 Block, Wellington Land District, to be a
Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto were, by orders of the Native Land Court
made on the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one, and the fifteenth day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, duly laid off as a
road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-eight, forty-nine, and
fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-line should be pro-
claimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has
been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section
fifty-one of the said Act :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line
should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections
forty-eight, forty-nine, and fifty of the Native Land Amend-
ment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is
applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line
described in the Schedule hereto.

Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2292, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of
March, 1929.

Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures,
in the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the area of national-endowment land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby
set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or
lease to discharged soldiers, under ordinary tenures, in the
manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Otamatea
County, containing by admeasurement 253 acres 0 roods
14 perches, being 2, 3, and 4 (on deposited plan 21498) of
Allotments M. 63, E. 63, 64, 65, and 66, Parish of Toka Toka,
and Allotments W. 65 and E. 65, Parish of Omaru; the same
being more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S.
21/149/245, deposited at Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of
March, 1929.

vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the North Auckland Main Trunk
Railway, Kirikopuni Section.

hereto is hereby taken for the North Auckland Main Trunk
Railway, Kirikopuni Section.
