BUCKLEY DRAINAGE BOARD (SHANNON).
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, section 62 of the Local Legislation Act, 1927, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Buckley Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Buckley Drainage Board Loan of £1,500, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying the Board’s overdraft with the Board’s bankers as at the 31st day of March, 1928, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-sixteenths (9/16ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable property in the Buckley Drainage District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.
COPY OF RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE FOR SHANNON BRIDGE LOAN OF £5,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Local Legislation Act, 1927, and by virtue of a consenting Order in Council, dated the 26th day of January, 1928, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General in terms of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,500, authorized to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing the Council’s share of the cost of constructing a bridge at Shannon, and approaches, the Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-third of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Manawatu; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year.”
I hereby certify that the above is a copy of resolution duly passed at a meeting of the Manawatu County Council held on Tuesday, the 14th day of August, 1928, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on Tuesday, the 11th day of September, 1928.

AMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Amuri County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000), authorized to be raised by the Amuri County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing, metalling, and draining roads in the Lyndon Riding, the said Amuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four thirty-thirds (4/33rds) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Lyndon Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between me the undersigned FRANK VINCENT THOMAS and FREDERICK HAWORTH, under the style or firm of “Haworth and Thomas,” at Christchurch, as Motor Engineers, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of June, 1928.
