to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting and extend-
ing waterworks in the Cashmere Riding, the Heathcote
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
⅜ths of a penny in a pound upon the rateable property of
all the rateable property situated in the Cashmere Riding of
the County of Heathcote, and that such rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable on the 1st day of August of each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Cashmere Electricity Loan No. 3, 1928—A Loan of £8,000.
That, for the purpose of providing interest at 5¼ per cent.
and sinking fund at £5 per cent., on a loan of £8,000, authorized
to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing,
extending, and reorganizing electric system in the Cashmere
Riding, the Heathcote County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of ⁷⁄₅₂nds of a penny in the pound upon
the rateable value of all the rateable property situated in the
Cashmere Riding of the County of Heathcote, and that such
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August of each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Avon-Bromley Electric Loan No. 2—A Loan of £8,500.
That, for the purpose of providing interest at 5¼ per cent.
and sinking fund at £3 per cent., on a loan of £8,500, authorized
to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing,
extending, and reorganizing electric system in the Avon and
Bromley Ridings, the Heathcote County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one-half of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value of all the rateable property situated
in the Avon and Bromley Ridings of the County of Heathcote,
and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of
August of each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is
full paid off.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £700, authorized to be
raised by the Piako County Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling 45 chains No. 9
Road and 16 chains No. 7 Road in the Waitoa Riding of the
Piako County, the said Piako County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of twopence and one-eighth of a
penny in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value of
all rateable property of the No. 9 Road Special-rating Area
of the Piako County, comprising all that area in the Land
District of Auckland bounded commencing at a point in the
south-eastern boundary of Section 81, Waitoa Estate Sub-
division, 25 chains from No. 7 Road; towards the south-
west by direct line parallel with such road to the No. 9 Road,
and across the same, and along the boundary of Section 83,
Waitoa Estate Subdivision, to a point 40 chains from No. 7
Road; thence at right angles in Section 83 for 30 chains;
towards the north-west by a direct line parallel with No. 9
Road, 30 chains therefrom to the north-east boundary of
Section 42, Waitoa Estate Subdivision; towards the north-
east by said boundary to the No. 9 Road, and across same,
and by the north-eastern boundary of Section 19, Balachraggan
Settlement, and south-eastern boundary thereof, and drain
reserve to the south-eastern boundary of Section 21, Balach-
raggan Settlement; and towards the south-east by this
boundary and road crossing, and north-eastern and north-
western boundaries of Section 80, Waitoa Estate Subdivision,
to the point of commencement; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Edin., now residing in Christchurch, hereby give notice
that I intend applying on the 3rd February, 1929, to have
my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion
of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of
my qualification in the office of the Department of Health
at Wellington.
