ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 22 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 15, Block VI, Lower Hawea Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 4, Block VI aforesaid; towards the east by a road towards the south by Section 5, Block VI aforesaid; and towards the west by Section 7, Block VI aforesaid: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 165/1, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Tuahu Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 0 roods 35·6 perches.

Adjoining S.G.R. 85, Block VII, Tuahu Survey District.

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/2/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2272, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of December, 1928.

Altering the Boundaries of the South Canterbury Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter, so as to include the area described in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the South Canterbury Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted under the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District comprising part of the Waimate County bounded by a line commencing at a point in the Waitaki River at the western boundary of Lot 16, Reserve 191; thence proceeding along that boundary and the southern and western boundaries of Lot 11, Reserve 191, to a public road; thence easterly along that road to the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XI, Waikakahi Settlement; thence northerly along that boundary to a public road; thence northerly along that road to Rural Section 17126; thence along the western boundary of that section to its north-western corner; thence along a right line through Rural Section 16797 to the junction of roads at its north-eastern corner; thence north-easterly along a public road intersecting or fronting rural Sections 14585, 20508, 18960, to the south branch of the Waihao River; thence down that river to its junction with the north branch of the Waihao River; thence northerly up the said north branch to the northern boundary of Block VII, Waihao Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries of Blocks VII and VI, Waihao Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Blocks VI, X, and XIV, Waihao Survey District, and of Blocks II and VI, Elephant Hill Survey District, to the Waitaki River; thence down that river to the point of commencement: As the said area is more particularly delineated by a red border on the plan marked P.W.D. 73896, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1928.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73955, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
