A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Lower Hutt described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3417/8, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2280, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1928.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the thirteenth day of November, then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being part Section 18s, Puahue Settlement, Block V, Maungatautari Survey District : Bounded towards the north generally by a road, Quarry Reserve, and part Section 21s, Puahue Settlement, 65·0, 286·1, 170·1, 520·7, 291·1, and 856·1 links ; towards the south generally by part Section 16s, Puahue Settlement, 285 links, and a stream : As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/165, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1928.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-first day of August, then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

SECTION 26s, Remuera Settlement : Area, 156 acres 2 roods.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of December, 1928.

Revocation of the Reservation of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the seventeenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State Forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far only as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 0 roods 72 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 410, Whangamarino Parish, situated in Block XV, Maramarua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows : Towards the north by a road and Sections 48, 49, 50, 51, and 52, Te Kauwhata Township ; towards the east and south by State Forest No. 33, Gazette, 1886, page 1497, 709·7 links and 1362·4 links respectively, and towards the west by the North Island Main Trunk Railway, 810·4 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan 25/6, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1928.
