Land in the Westland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land heretofore held under renewable lease, has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.
PART Section 3255, Block V, Waiwhero Survey District: Area, 152 acres.
Section 3250, Block I, Waiwhero Survey District: Area, 105 acres 3 roods.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1928.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section 6, Block II, Tiffin Survey District, being road closed by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 84 of 8th November, 1928, page 3236, and bounded as follows: Towards the west, north, and east, generally by an unclosed portion of the same road, and being a strip 15 links wide adjoining the Mangatariri Stream; and towards the south by another portion of the aforesaid road, not closed, 70 links, 163·3 links, 135·5 links, 102·8 links, and 60 links: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on plan marked 253/11, deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing by admeasurement 1,050 acres, more or less, being Section 5, Block II, Tiffin Survey District, permanently set aside as an endowment for primary education by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1895, page 1620.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of December, 1928.
