IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE NATIONAL SALES COMPANY, LIMITED.

THE following resolutions were duly passed and signed by the members of the above-named company on the 2nd day of February, 1928:—

It is resolved that—

  1. (a) As the principal assets have been sold to Mohegan (N.Z.), Ltd., and
    (b) In view of the present financial position of the Company that it be wound up voluntarily.

  2. It is resolved that—
    Mr. J. L. ARCUS, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator.

All persons and companies having claims against the said company are required to send full particulars thereof to me, care of G.P.O. Box 1283, Wellington, on or before the 2nd day of March, 1928, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in the distribution of any assets.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned William Morgan Gimson, of Auckland, in New Zealand, Agent, hereby applies for a license for a current-power line as specified hereunder, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 16th January, 1928, at 4 p.m.

Date and number of miner’s right: 12/3/27; No. 20300.

Locality of current-power line, with starting and terminal points: Commencing at a point on the Stadia Stream in the Matakaitaki Block, in the area applied for as a power-house site, and marked G on the plan filed in the Warden’s Office at Thames, and running in a southerly direction to the area applied for by the applicant as a battery site in Pakirarahi No. 1 Block, as shown on the said plan filed in the Warden’s Office at Thames.
Length of line: 160 chains.
Estimated time of construction: One month.
Estimated cost of construction: £200.
Purpose for which line is to be used: For conveying electricity to the machinery to be installed on the battery site.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.

Length and width of water-area: Small pool.
Estimated time and cost of construction: One week; £25.
Proposed term of license: Twenty-one years.
Purpose for which water is to be stored: Hydro-electric power purposes.
