The Leasehold Interest in Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block I, Waiopehu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1913, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Norman Gace Vickers and Douglas Wilfred Vickers under Lease No. 9224, from His Majesty the King, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, such lease being registered in the Land and Deeds Registry Office, at Wellington, in Register-book, Vol. 29A, folio 78, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold interest is taken: 1 rood 9·5 perches.
Being portion of Section 32 (E.R.).
Situated in Block I, Survey District of Waiopehu. (S.O. 2250.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70022, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1928.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a further Portion of the Kawakawa-Hokianga Railway, Ngapuhi Northwards (Okoro Section), and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, taking land for a further portion of the Kawakawa-Hokianga Railway, Ngapuhi Northwards (Okoro Section), and for road-diversions in connection therewith, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 2 acres 1 rood 2·4 perches.
Being portion of railway land.
Situated in Okaihau Parish, Block VI, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24443.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70895, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of January, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portions of road in Hawera Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

The Northern Side of Portion of Bedford Terrace, in the Borough of Waipukurau, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 6th day of February, 1928.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waipukurau Borough Council on the nineteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz.:—
“That, pursuant to the application of William Bramwell Booth, of London, General of the Salvation Army, and with his consent relative to a proposed subdivision of the undermentioned lands, it is hereby declared that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the northern portion of Bedford Terrace, fronting Lots 4 and 5 on a plan of the Village of Waipukurau, deposited in the Land Transfer Office, at Napier, under Number 169”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the said portion of Bedford Terrace (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Borough of Waipukurau, known as Bedford Terrace, adjoining Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 169, Village of Waipukurau. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 71095, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
