pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Churchill Special-rating District, being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

All that area in the Parish of Whangamarino, of the County of Waikato, bounded, commencing at the north-eastern corner of No. 370 of the said parish generally, towards the north by the road forming the southern boundary of Allotments 371 and 364 of the said parish, to the easternmost corner of Allotment No. 373 of the said parish; thence by the south-western boundary and the south-eastern boundary of the said Allotment No. 373 to the easternmost corner of Allotment No. 221 of the said parish; thence by the south-eastern boundary of the said Allotment No. 221 to the western boundary of Allotment No. 392 of the said parish; thence by the said western and southern boundaries of the said Allotment No. 392 and the southern boundary of Allotment No. 408, to the road forming the eastern boundary of Allotment No. 400 of the said parish; thence towards the east by the said road to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the said Allotment No. 400 of the said parish; thence by the last-mentioned road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 10 of the Village of Rangiriri; thence by a line across the last-mentioned road and the south-western boundary of the said Allotment No. 10 to the north-western boundary of Allotment No. 8 of the Village of Rangiriri; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 10, a line across a road, and the south-eastern boundary of Allotment No. 11 of the Village of Rangiriri to Mercer Street; thence by Mercer Street to Mayne Street; thence by Mayne Street to the Great South Road; thence by the south-western boundaries of Allotment No. 6 of the Village of Rangiriri, a line across Watkins Street, the south-western boundary of Allotment No. 1, a line across Phelps Street, and the south-western boundaries of Allotments Nos. 60 and 47 to Murphy Street; thence by Murphy Street and the western boundary of the County of Waikato to the commencing-point.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of PETERSENS LIMITED (in voluntary liquidation).
NOTICE it hereby given that at a special general meeting of the above company, held on Wednesday, the 31st day of October, 1928, the following resolution was passed:—
“ That, by reason of the fact that the company has sold its business, the company go into voluntary liquidation forthwith, and that MONTEFIORE ALBIN PHILIPS, of Grahams-town, South Africa, Farmer, be appointed Liquidator.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between FRANCIS THOMAS FINLAY EVANS, of Auckland, Implement-maker, and MATTHEW JAMES HOOPER, of Auckland, Manufacturer, carrying on business as Implement-makers under the style of “Evans, Hooper, and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of October, 1928.
Mr. F. T. F. Evans will carry on business on his own account at his new premises situate 134–138 Wellesley Street West (opposite Victoria Park), and Mr. M. J. Hooper will carry on business on his own account at 90 Federal Street.
All accounts due to the late firm are payable to A. E. Warnock, Esq., Accountant, of Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, whose receipt shall be a sufficient discharge therefor. All accounts owing by the late firm are to be rendered to Mr. Warnock (in duplicate), who will attend to same promptly.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, and their Amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for street purposes, at the corner of Lyall Parade and Onepu Road, in the City of Wellington—and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken:
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
