NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
TAKE notice that by a deed dated the 15th day of October, 1928, the Partnership theretofore existing between WILLIAM HANDCOCK MACKAY, of the City of Nelson, Merchant, and GEORGE WILLIAM McDONALD, sen., of the said city, Wool Buyer, was dissolved by mutual consent from that date.
All debts owing to or by the late Partnership will be received or discharge by the said George William McDonald at the premises of the late Partnership.
The wool, skin, and fur business heretofore conducted by the Partnership under the name of “ W. H. Mackay and Company ” will hereafter be carried on by the said George William McDonald under the same name.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE IDA FLAXMILLING CO., LTD, a Private Company duly incorporated.
NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of THE IDA FLAXMILLING CO., LTD. (in voluntary liquidation), will be held at my office, Waldegrave’s Buildings, The Square, Palmerston North, on Saturday, the 17th day of November, 1928, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of having an explanation thereof given by the Liquidator. The company will be asked to declare by resolution how the books, accounts, and documents of the company and the Liquidator are to be disposed of.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
IT having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company, by reason of its liabilities, cannot continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the company, it is hereby resolved that the company shall and does hereby go into voluntary liquidation, and that for that purpose IVO BURNET DOBSON ESAM, of Auckland, Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company at a remuneration to be fixed.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,750 (three thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds), authorized to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the excess cost in respect of the work of formation, concreting, and improving the main highway from Auckland to Henderson in the Waikumete Riding of the County of Waitemata, and in terms of section 76 of the Local Legislation Act, 1927, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Waikumete Riding of the County of Waitemata, the boundaries of which are legally defined as a legal subdivision, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council at a meeting held on the 21st day of September, 1928.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between HENRY LANCE OGDEN and DAVID MORRIS MORGAN, carrying on business at Devonport, Auckland, under the style or firm of “ The Cheltenham Motor Service,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of September, 1928, so far as concerns the said David Morris Morgan, who retires from the said business.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Henry Lance Ogden, who will continue to carry on the said business under the said name of “ The Cheltenham Motor Service.”

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waikato County Churchill Special-rating District Loan of £1,200, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of raising the formation of a road from Rangiriri Township to Churchill, and to provide for all road deviations required, and conditions imposed by the Public Works Department, within the Churchill Special-rating District, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the
