Altering Appointment of Clerk to Transport Appeal Board for No. 4 Motor-omnibus District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by Regulation 33 of the Motor-omnibus (Licensing) Regulations, 1926, I, Francis Henry Dillon Bell, for Minister of Public Works, do hereby revoke the appointment of Henry Morgan as Clerk to the Transport Appeal Board for No. 4 Motor-omnibus District, and do hereby appoint (with the approval of the Public Service Commissioner) Mervyn Simmonds as Clerk to the said Transport Appeal Board.

THE Public Service Commissioner has made the following appointments in the Public Service:- Constable Samuel James Frost to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates' Court at Maungaturoto for the purposes of the Magistrates' Court Act, 1908, as from the 15th day of October, 1928. Albert Irving Flett to be Registrar of Marriages and of Births and Deaths for the District of Buller, and Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Westport, as from the 23rd October, 1928. Alexander Wallace Swap to be Registrar of Marriages and Registrar of Births and Deaths for the District of Wairoa, as from the 23rd October, 1928.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of Waipawa.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 6th November, 1928.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Borough of Waipawa and included in the County of Waipawa. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF WAIPAWA AND INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF WAIPAWA.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the north-western boundary of Block 78, Patangata C.G.D., with the left bank of the Waipawa River; thence generally north-westerly by the left bank of that river to the southernmost corner of Waipawa Bush Section 133; thence north-easterly by south-eastern boundaries of Waipawa Bush Sections 133, 132, and north-westerly by north-eastern boundary of the said Section 132 to a public road; thence north-easterly by the eastern side of that road to south-western corner of Waipawa Bush Section 129; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly by south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 129 to the aforesaid public road; thence north-easterly by eastern side of that road and south-easterly by southern side of Bibby Street to the north-eastern corner of Waipawa Bush Section 128, on plan No. 158, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence north-easterly by the abutment of Bibby Street and by the north-eastern boundaries of Waipawa Bush Sections 127, 126, on the aforesaid deposited plan No. 158, by Lot 7, across a public drain, and by Lot 6, all on deeds plan No. 422, deposited in the Deeds Registry Office at Napier, to a public road; thence in a south-easterly direction by southern side of that road to the north-western boundary of Block 78, Patangata C.G.D.; thence south-westerly by the said boundary to the left bank of the Waipawa River, the point of commencement.
