Warrant vesting the Control of the Waitara River Bridge on Rerekino Road, in the Clifton County Council.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that the bridge over the Waitara River (as more particularly described in the Schedule hereto) shall, on and after the date of the gazetting hereof, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Clifton County Council.

SCHEDULE.

THAT bridge in the Taranaki Land District over the Waitara River on Rerekino Road, known as the Waitara River Bridge, and situated adjacent to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block IV, Upper Waitara Survey District: As the site of the said bridge is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73604, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of November, 1928.

Warrant vesting the Control of the Mangaehu Stream Bridge, on Tapuni Road, in the Whangamomona County Council.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that the bridge over the Mangaehu Stream (as more particularly described in the Schedule hereto) shall, on and after the date of the gazetting hereof, be under the exclusive care, control, and management of the Whangamomona County Council.

SCHEDULE.

THAT bridge in the Taranaki Land District, over Mangaehu Stream, on Tapuni Road, known as the Mangaehu Stream Bridge, situated adjacent to the junction of Mangaehu Road and Tapuni Road, and between Sections 6 and 10, Block XVI, Ngatimaru Survey District. As the site of the said bridge is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 73605, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of November, 1928.

Land proclaimed under Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925, notified available for Purchase for Industrial Purposes.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the fourth section of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Amendment Act, 1926, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the undermentioned land is available for purchase as a site or sites for commercial or industrial purposes, and that the price fixed as a basis of negotiations with respect to the aforesaid land shall be seven hundred and fifty pounds per acre.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Borough of Lower Hutt, situated in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being part Section 14, Hutt Registration District, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waiwetu River, being the intersection of the said bank with the south-western side of Bell Road, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction along the said side of Bell Road to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on plan No. 7217, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence towards the north-west along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to its intersection with the railway-siding to the Hutt Valley Settlement Industrial Area; thence by the said railway-siding to the left bank of the Waiwetu River aforesaid; and thence towards the north-east by the left bank of the Waiwetu River to its intersection with the south-western side of Bell Road, the place of commencement.
