Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Anzac Park Domain.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1928.

Present :

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR FRANCIS BELL, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Frank Elliott,
James Edmund Holmes,
James Jackson,
James Angus Sutherland Mackay,
Ernest Gervase William Tibbits, and
Luke Webb

to be the Anzac Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Whangarei County Council Office, Whangarei, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ANZAC PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of a subdivision of portion of Raumanga Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, and bounded as follows : Commencing at a point on a public road at the southern boundary of Tarewa Block, towards the north generally by the said Tarewa Block, 267·5 and 654·2 links, to Lot 2 of a subdivision of portion of Raumanga Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks ; thence towards the east and south generally by the said Lot 2, 222·5, 381·4, 291·8, 475·4, 43·2, 171·1, 500·9, 187·5, and 621 links, to a public road ; thence towards the west generally by said public road, 1170·3 and 494·8 links, to the point of commencement : Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council dated the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of that month, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Kauri Point Domain, and doth hereby appoint

The Birkenhead Borough Council

to be the Kauri Point Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Office, Birkenhead, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

KAURI POINT DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 110 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Allotment 157 and part Allotment 162, Parish of Takapuna (Kauri Point Reserve). As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/607, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
