Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part State Forest No. 185 (Golden Downs Plantation Extension).
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing by admeasurement 1,253 acres, more or less, being Sections 1s and 1 of 2s, Blue Glen Settlement, and situated in Block XIII, Gordon Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Section 9, Block XVI, Tadmor Survey District, and Section 6, Block XIII, Gordon Survey District; towards the north-east by Section 4, Block XIII aforesaid, being part State Forest No. 185, and by a road; towards the east and south-east by Section 8, Block XIII aforesaid; towards the south-west by a road, a reserve along the Motupiko River, a road by the aforesaid riverbank reserve, again by a road, and again by the aforesaid riverbank reserve. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan 108/10, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1928.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—CANTERBURY-OTAGO FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
State Forest No. 93 (Naseby Plantation Extension).
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 2,920 acres, more or less, being Section 15, Block II, Naseby Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Run 575, 30111·5 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 12214·8 links; and towards the south-west by Section 81, Block I, and Section 14, Block II, Naseby Survey District, 16678·5 links; again towards the south-east by said Section 14, 5285·2 links; again towards the south-west and towards the north-west by Run 219c, 17157 links: all the aforesaid linkages being more or less. Save and except an intersecting road-line one chain wide. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan numbered 176/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of October, 1928.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
State Forest No. 144.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3,731 acres 2 roods 33 perches, more or less, being portion of Taranoho Block, situated in Blocks V, VIII, IX, XII, and XIII, Hastings Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by a public road and Section 18, Block V, Hastings Survey District; towards the south-east by Section 18 aforesaid, Pukawa Block, Marama Stream, Waimahoe Block, Piraunui Creek, and Waiwawa Block; towards the south-west by Section 1, Block XII, Hastings Survey District, and Provisional State Forest No. 69 (Gazette, 1920, page 924); towards the north-west by Provisional State Forest aforesaid, Sections 1 and 13, Block IX, Hastings Survey District, and Sections 12 and 11, Block V, Hastings Survey District: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 22/6, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 2,332 acres, more or less, being portion of the Waiwawa Block, situated in Blocks IX and XIII, Hastings Survey District, and Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by the Marama Stream; towards the east and south-east by Waiwawa River, a road, the Taranoho Stream, Five-mile Stream, and a road; towards the south by Section 1, Block XIII, Hastings Survey District; towards the north-west by the Taranoho Block and the Piraunui Creek: Save and excepting Section 6 (10 acres), Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, and two intersecting roads. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 22/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
State Forest No. 145.
All that area containing by admeasurement 959 acres, more or less, being portion of Mangarehu Block, situated in Block II, Thames Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Waiwhakaurunga Block and Section 8, Block III, Thames Survey District; towards the south-east by Section 9, Block VI, Thames Survey District, and a public road; towards the south-west by the Mangarehu Stream and the northern portion of the Mangakirikiri Block; and towards the north-west by the Ngaromaki Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 22/5, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
State Forest No. 146.
All that area containing by admeasurement 6,393 acres, more or less, being portion Kapowai Block, situated in Blocks V, VII, VIII, IX, XI, and XII, Whitianga Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Whenuakite No. 2 Block; towards the east by Parakau Creek, Awahau Creek, Whenuakite No. 2 Block, and Section 2, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District; towards the south by Section 3, Block IX, Whitianga Survey District; towards the south-east by Section 3 aforesaid and Provisional State Forest No. 70 (Gazette, 1920, page 923); again towards the south by State Forest No. 35 (Gazette, 1911, page 702), (Te Tipi Block); towards the north-west generally by Section 8, Block VII, Whitianga Survey District, a road abuttal, again by Section 8 aforesaid, Section 9, Block VII aforesaid; Kahuwera Block, Wharepapa Block, Kapowai Creek; again by Wharepapa Block, and by Crown land: Save and excepting that area, containing 73 acres, being the Ahiraumati Block, bounded towards the north-east, south-east, and south by Kapowai Block, and towards the north-west by the Kapowai Creek. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/5, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
State Forest No. 147.
All that area containing by admeasurement 761 acres, more or less, being two severed portions of the Karo Block situated in Blocks VI, VIA, IX, and X, Whitianga Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Northern Portion—Towards the north-west by a public road and Section 1 of Block VI, Whitianga Survey District; towards the north-east generally by Allotments 25, 23, and 27, Hahei Parish; towards the south-east by Provisional State Forest No. 68 (Gazette, 1920, page 923); and towards the west by Whenuakite No. 2 Block: Save and excepting one intersecting road. Southern Portion—Bounded towards the north-east by Provisional State Forest No. 68 (Gazette, 1920, page 923), Section 2, Blocks VI, VIA, and X, Whitianga Survey District;
