A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
State Forest No. 83 (Kaingaroa Plantation Extension).
(29,894 acres.)
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 29,894 acres, more or less, being Run No. 95, situated in Blocks VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, XIII, XIV, and XV, Weao Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Heruiwi Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the east by the Wheao River, the Otupaha Stream, and a tributary, and provisional State Forest No. 59 (Gazette, 1920, page 2119); towards the south by Pukahunui No. 2 Block, the Otueta Stream, the Wheao River, and again by Pukahunui No. 2 Block; towards the south-west by the aforementioned block; and towards the north-west and north by the Rangitaiki River: As the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 47/22, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1928.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON-MARLBOROUGH FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part Provisional State Forest No. 79.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 909 acres, more or less, and being Section 9, Block XIII, Matiri Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north by Provisional State Forest No. 79, Gazette 1920, page 931; towards the east by Sections 2 of 3, 1 of 3, and 8, all of Block XIII, Matiri Survey District; towards the south by a road, Section 96, Square 138, a road, part 2, Square 138, and a road; and towards the west by Section 5, Block XVI, Lyell Survey District.
Also all that area, containing by admeasurement 39 acres, more or less, being Section 8, Block XIII, Matiri Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by Section 1 of 3, Block XIII, Matiri Survey District; towards the south-east by a road; towards the south-west by a road; and towards the north-west by Section 9, Block XIII aforesaid.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 107/1, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1928.

Part Provisional State Forest No. 57.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 571 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Subdivision 3 of Section 16, Block VI, Aria Survey District: Bounded towards the north by Section 10 of Block VI, 7357·4 links, and Section 8 of Block VII, 6614·6 links ; towards the south-east by Section 2, Block VII, 4294·5 links, and Section 5, Block VII, 5781·4 links; towards the south by Section 9, Block VI, 5120·9 links; and towards the west generally by road, 2598·8 links, Subdivision 2 of Section 16, Block VI, 104 chains (approx.); Section 19, Block VI, 795·6 links, and Subdivision 1 of Section 16, Block VI, 2613·2 links: All situated in Aria Survey District: Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan No. 52/3 deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 7·5 perches, more or less, being a closed road situated in Block V, Tarawera Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by State Forest (Gazette, 1906, page 2506) 606·5 links; towards the south-east by State Forest (Gazette, 1909, page 550), 468·0 links; and towards the south-west by Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6s, Section 2B (State Forest, Gazette, 1927, page 2897), 451·5 links: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 38/14, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
