HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-named Act for the construction of roads in Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special-rating Area, the said Hauraki Plains County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the Ngatea Riding Roads Loan Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of Ngatea Riding with the exception of (a) Kaihere-Torehape Roads Loan Special-rating Area; (b) Sections 2, 10, 11, and 12, Block XVI, Piako; (c) Lot 1 of Section 5, Block VI, Waihou; (d) Section 6, Block VI, Waihou; and that such rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan of £175, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling approximately 54 chains of the Patetonga Main Road from Maukoro Landing Road to a point to the north known as Pollen’s Outlet, the said Hauraki Plains County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings (¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the Patetonga South Roads Loan Special-rating Area (1927) comprising (a) Section 1, Block I, Waitoa Survey District; (b) Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of part Section 6, Block I, Waitoa Survey District; and that such rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund and other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be raised by the Hauraki Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling 162 chains of Ngataipua East Road, the said Hauraki Plains County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and three-fifths of a penny (1 3/5d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property within the Ngataipua East Roads Loans (1928) Special-rating Area comprising—south part Section 11, Lot 1 of Section 25, Lot 2 of part Section 13, part Section 26, Lot 2 of Section 25, Lot 1 of Section 13, part Section 13 and Section 22A, Section 24, south part Section 12, south part of Section 23—all of the foregoing being part of Block II, Thames Survey District, and part Lot 4 of Ngataipua, part 1B 1B, and part Whare-maho Block; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ROBERT IRVINE BELL and KENNETH HENRY KERSEL, carrying on business as Carriers at Wellington and Palmerston North, under the style of “Bell and Kersel,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of September, 1928.
All debts due to and owing by the late partnership will be received and paid respectively by the said Robert Irvine Bell, who will continue to carry on the said business upon his own account.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Cashmere Drainage Repayment Loan of £1,450.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Heathcote County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest at 5½ per cent. and sinking fund at £4 12s. 6d. per cent. on a loan of £1,450, authorized to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming portion of a loan maturing in the Cashmere Riding, the Heathcote County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 9/64ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the area contained in the special Schedule herein mentioned, situated in the Cashmere Riding of the County of Heathcote, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August of each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that land contained in the following area: Commencing at the junction of Colombo Street, Hills Road, and Dyers Pass Road, thence in a southerly direction along the Dyers Pass Road to the north-western boundary of Reserve 161; thence easterly to the north-eastern boundary of Reserve 161; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Rural Sections 2147, 4349, 2045; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Rural Section 2045 to the south-west corner of Rural Section 1935; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Rural Section 34653 and westerly along the northern boundary of Rural Sections 34653, 2047, 1713, to the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 813; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Rural Section 813; thence westerly along the Hills Road to the place of commencement in the Heathcote Road District.

Avonside Public Works Repayment Loan of £290.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Heathcote County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest at 5½ per cent. and sinking fund at £7 19s. per cent. on a loan of £290, authorized to be raised by the Heathcote County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming portion of a loan maturing in the Avon Riding, the Heathcote County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the area contained in the special Schedule herein mentioned, situated in the Avon Riding of the County of Heathcote, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August of each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that land comprised within the following boundaries: Commencing at the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 273 at the corner of Wainoni and Kerr’s Road; and thence by the said Wainoni Road to its junction with the River Road and River Avon at the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 1656; thence by the River Road and River Avon to Kerr’s Road; and thence along the said road to the place of commencement at the south-eastern corner of Wainoni and Kerr’s Road.
