Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Whangarei, taken on the 17th day of October, 1928, on the proposal of the Whangarei Borough Council to borrow the following loans, the number of votes recorded in the case of each proposal was as follows :—
No. 1 Loan: For the purpose of extensions and alterations to the sewer system, preparation of comprehensive scheme for the whole borough, and financing connections, £49,000: For the proposal, 330; against the proposal, 113; informal, 19.
