All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded on the north-west by the Tararu Stream from its mouth to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 4, Block I, Thames Survey District; then by a right line to the north-western corner of Section 5, Block V; then along the eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Hape North No. 1 (2599) and Hape North No. 2 (2600) to the south-eastern corner of the last-named block; then by a right line to the north-western corner of Section 6, Block V; then along the northern boundaries of that section to the south-west corner of Waokauri; along the southern boundary of that section to the point of contact with the water-race; then northerly and easterly along that race to the southernmost corner of Section 2716A, where it is bounded by the Kauaeranga River; along that stream in a southerly direction to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Te Reu Reu (1731); along that boundary and the southern boundaries of Te Reu Reu (1731), Pakaraka (3734), Kohuroa (2355), and Ngaputaka (1675) to the junction of the latter with Taparahi No. 3; then along the eastern boundary of Taparahi No. 3 to its south-eastern corner; then along the southern boundaries of Taparahi No. 3, Tarukinikini (4328), Kohikurere (4546), Huirepo (4536), to the main road; along the main road to its junction with a road leading through Pukehue (6701) and Hurumoi moi (377) to the sea-coast; then along the last-named road to the coast-line; then northerly along the coast to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that as and from the date of this Order in Council the roads or portions of roads and the streets or portions of streets enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall become main highways within the meaning and for the purposes of the Main Highways Act, 1922.
SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 1.
Bayley’s Coast Road.—All that road or portion of road in the Hobson County commencing at the western boundary of the Borough of Dargaville at the Mangatara Stream at the eastern corner of Section 14, Kaihu No. 1 Block, Block 15, Kaihu Survey District, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction and terminating at the south-western boundary of Kaihu No. 1 Block, Block 13, Kaihu Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 72333, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that street or portion of street in the Dargaville Borough commencing at the junction of Beach Road and Normanby Street, and proceeding generally in a westerly direction via the said Beach Road, and terminating at the western boundary of the Borough of Dargaville at the Mangatara Stream, being a distance of 1 mile 5 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71163, and thereon coloured blue.
Miti tai — Mangonui Bridge (Upper).—All that road or portion of road in the Hobson County commencing at a point opposite the Miti tai Wharf in the Village of Newport, Block 5, Toka Toka Survey District, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction, and terminating at the easternmost corner of Allotment E.R. 36, Okahu Parish, Block 3, Toka Toka Survey District, being a distance of 7 miles 24 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 73352, and thereon coloured red.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 2.
Huntly—Rotongaro.—All that road or portion of road in the Huntly Town District and the Raglan County commencing at the junction of the Great South Road and Raynor Street in the Huntly Town District, and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction via the said Raynor Street, and thence through Blocks 15, 11, and 10, Rangiriri Survey District, and terminating at a point at the north-eastern corner of Section 12, Block 10, Rangiriri Survey District, being a distance of 6 miles 27 chains, more or less. Shown on plan P.W.D. 71603, and thereon coloured blue.
