Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XII, Maruia
Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public
Works Amendment Act, 1923, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General
Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the middle-line of the road desired to be constructed over
Block XII, Maruia Survey District, shall be that defined and
set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the Maruia River Road near the
south-eastern corner of Section 1, Block XII, Maruia Survey
District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly
direction, passing in, into, through, or over the following
lands, &c.--viz., the said Section 1 and Section 4, Square
172, Block XII, Maruia Survey District, and terminating at
a point on the said road near the eastern boundary of the said
Section 4, Square 172, being a distance of 23-85 chains, more
or less, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands,
reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
All in the Nelson Land District; as the same is delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 73152, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
September, 1928.

Government Railways Department.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section fifteen of the Government Rail-
ways Amendment Act, 1927, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General
Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby
available for sale and disposal to employees of the Govern-
ment Railways Department.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 27-27 perches.
Being Section No. 29, Block LIV, Hutt Valley Settlement,
Belmont Survey District, Borough of Lower Hutt. (S.O.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of
September, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of September, 1928.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him
by section fifty-three of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and of every
other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby amend in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto the
regulations relating to the Aitutaki Wharf and Cargo-sheds made by Order
in Council on the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-seven, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of the same
month at page 2202; and, with the like advice and consent, doth declare
that the amendment hereby made shall come into operation on the date
of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
Clause 1 of the said regulations is hereby amended by omitting from
subclause (a) thereof the words "after the hour of 4 p.m." and substituting
therefor the words "after the hour of 5 p.m."

Notifying Lands in the Auckland Land District for Sale by
Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-eight, as the time at which the lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby fix
the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those
mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Piako County.--Te Aroha Township.
Section 14, Block LXIV : Area, 1 rood 12 perches. Upset
price, Β£120.
Building-site, situated in Whittaker Street, about half a
mile from the Te Aroha Railway-station, post-office, and
High School. Level section, unimproved.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 6th day of September, 1928.
