Domain Board appointed to have Control of the St. Andrew's
Domain.

CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
September, 1928.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

Ernest John Dash,
David Matheson France,
Angus Lyall,
Leonard Andrew O'Loughlin, and
Richard Lewis Pugh
to be the St. Andrew's Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Saturday, the twenty-second day of September, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at half-past seven
o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Library Hall, St.
Andrew's, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ST. ANDREW'S DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 24 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less,
being Reserve No. 634 (in red), situate in Block XII, Otaio
Survey District, and Block IV, Patiti Survey District. Com-
mencing at the north-west corner of Rural Section 6230;
thence bounded towards the north-west by a public road,
2844 links; towards the north-east by Rural Section 7103,
1078 links; towards the south-east by the railway reserve,
2730 links; and towards the south-west by Rural Section
6230; 729 links, to the point of commencement: save and
except the portion used as a public pound, for which due
allowance has been made in the area: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Rhodes Park
Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by

1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

The Hon. Sir Robert Heaton Rhodes, K.C.V.O., K.B.E.,
James Joseph Doyle,
Hugh James Macartney,
John Mackenzie, sen.,
George Mangels,
Thomas Owen Morgan, and
Richard May Morten
to be the Rhodes Park Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Saturday, the twenty-fourth day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at eight o'clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Tai Tapu, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

RHODES PARK DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by
admeasurement 71 acres 3 roods 10 perches, more or less,
and being Reserve 4125, situated in Block VI, Halswell
Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north
by a public road, 459·6 and 341·2 links; towards the north-
east, east, and south generally by the Halswell River;
towards the west by Reserve 3372, 750·2 links; again towards
the south by Reserve 3372, 160 links; and again towards the
west by a public road, 1611·5 links: As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/14l,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Extension of Time for Preparation of Ratepayers' List, Hillside
Drainage District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
September, 1928.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it is provided, inter alia, by section six of
the Land Drainage Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred
to as "the said Act"), as amended by section ten of the Land
Drainage Amendment Act, 1913, that the Returning Officer
of every Drainage Board shall, on or before the thirty-first
day of August in every year make out a list, to be called the
"Ratepayers' List," containing the particulars prescribed by
those sections:
And whereas in the case of the Hillside Drainage District
the Ratepayers' List for the year now current (hereinafter
referred to as "the said list") was not made out within the
time prescribed:
And whereas it is desirable to extend the time for making
out the said list:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers and authorities conferred on him be the said
Act, as amended by section twenty-two of the Land Drainage
Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby extend until the thirty-first day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the
time for making out the said list.

License authorizing Bay of Islands Harbour Board to erect
Electric Lines in Russell Town District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of
September, 1928.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Bay
of Islands Harbour Board (hereinafter referred to as “the
licensee”), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the
electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following
conditions.

CONDITIONS.

  1. PURPOSES OF LINES.
    The said lines may be used only to supply the licensee with
    electrical energy for lighting, power, and heating purposes.

  2. LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS.
    The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
    the licensee with the regulations made under section 2 of
    the aforesaid Act on the llth day of July, 1927, and published
    in the Gazette on the 12th day of the same month at page
    2360 (hereinafter called “the said regulations”) and with all
    regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in
    substitution therefor.
