Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through the Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 80b 1a and No. 80b 1c2 Blocks, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of section fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act :
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1927, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

Situated in Block XIII, Ongarue Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1530, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2259, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of August, 1928.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of September, then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 4, Block IV, Hapuakohe Survey District : Area, 500 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1928.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the fourteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day of April, then instant, setting apart settlement land for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Whakatane County.—Rangitaiki Settlement.
SECTION 185, Matata Parish : Area, 5 acres 3 roods 14 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1928.

Notice of Change of the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block XI, Puhi Puhi Survey District, Marlborough Land District.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), the Governor-General is empowered, in the case of any public reserve vested in His Majesty or the Governor-General for any of the purposes comprised in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, to change the purpose for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose :
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for a resting-place for stock, being a purpose within Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, and it is expedient to change, as hereinafter provided, the purpose of such portion :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by section six of the said Act as aforesaid, declare that the portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a resting-place for stock to a reserve for a gravel-pit. And I do hereby further declare that this notice is issued subject to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and shall take effect according to the provisions of that section.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 20·6 perches, being originally a portion of Stock-resting Reserve A, but now known as Section 26, Block XI, Puhi Puhi Survey District : Bounded as follows : Towards the north-west by a public road, 198·5 links and 291·1 links ; towards the north-east and south-east by Section 19 (originally part of Reserve A), 856·7 links and 270·4 links, respectively ; and towards the south-west by Small Grazing-run 112, 986 links : Be all the aforesaid measurements a little more or less.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of August, 1928.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
Robert Dunlop,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Clydevale, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the three-hundred-and-first section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1927.
