The North-western Side of Portion of Millward Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1928.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, viz. :—
“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the north-western side generally of that portion of Millward Street, fronting Lots 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 398, being part of Town Section 961, City of Wellington ”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Millward Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.
THE north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Millward Street, fronting Lots 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 398, being part Town Section 961, City of Wellington. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72203, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Kent Street and the North-eastern Side of Portion of The Strand, in the Town of Russell, Bay of Islands County, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Bay of Islands County Council on the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, viz. :—
“That the Bay of Islands County Council, being the local authority having the control of the roads in the Russell Town District, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to—
(a) The south-eastern side of the portion of Kent Street adjoining Allotment 3 of Section 5, Town of Russell, and part Block 11, O.L.C. 288a and 288c; and
(b) The north-eastern side of the portion of The Strand adjoining the said Allotment 3, and being situated in the Russell Town District, Block I, Russell Survey District ”;
such portions of roads being described in the Schedule hereto.

THE south-eastern side of all that portion of road, situated the North Auckland Land District, Town of Russell, Bay of Islands County, known as Kent Street, adjoining Allotment 3 of Section 5, Town of Russell, and part Block 2, O.L.C. 288a and 288c.
Also the north-eastern side of all that portion of road situated in the said land district and county known as The Strand, adjoining Allotment 3 of Section 5, Town of Russell.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70580, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Hutt County Council on the thirteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the portion of road affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—
“That the Hutt County Council, having control of that portion of Belmont Road marked A and B on the plan produced, and being part of Section 51, Hutt Registration District, Block 9, Belmont Survey District, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said portion of the said road ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side generally of the portion of Belmont Road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

THE eastern side generally of all that portion of road situated in the Wellington Land District, County of Hutt, known as Belmont Road, adjoining part Section 51, Hutt Registration District, Block IX, Belmont Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72723, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Primary-education Endowment in the North Auckland Land District, and reserving Crown Land in lieu thereof.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-three of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Warrant under his hand, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest so to do, cancel the reservation over any education reserve or endowment vested in the Crown, pursuant to the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, or over any part thereof, and to reserve in lieu thereof either an area of equal value of national-endowment land over which the reservation has likewise been cancelled pursuant to that section or an area of equal value of ordinary Crown land:
And whereas the Governor-General deems it expedient in the public interest to cancel the reservation over the primary-education reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, and to reserve in lieu thereof the area of Crown land of equal value described in the Second Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-three of the Land Act,
