Revoking the Declaration of a Portion of a Main Highway in Highway District No. 18 to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1928.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke Order in Council dated the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 63 of the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, in so far as affects the portion of main highway described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
KENNINGTON–WAIKAWA: All that portion of the main highway known as the Kennington–Waikawa Main Highway, commencing at its junction with MacManus Road, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction, and terminating at its junction with Shoot Road, Section 21, Block IV, Waikawa Survey District, passing through the County of Southland, being a distance of five miles, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.H. 41, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue and marked C–D on plan.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Havelock Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :
“That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of street in the City of Dunedin described hereunder, viz.: The north-eastern portion of Havelock Street where the same abuts on parts Lots 14, 15, 16, and 17, Block II, Township of Richmond Hill, as the said portion of street is shown on the plan attached hereto and thereon coloured brown and edged with red ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-eastern side of the portion of Havelock Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Havelock Street, fronting Lots 14, 15, 16, and 17, Block II, Township of Richmond Hill. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72733, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown.

The Northern Side of Portion of Hine Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, viz. :
“That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of Hine Street to which Section 42, New Plymouth, has frontage ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Hine Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
THE northern side of all that portion of street in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Hine Street, adjoining Section 42, Town of New Plymouth. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72453, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Manners Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twelfth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, viz. :
“The Wellington City Building-line By-law No. 55/1927 having definitely fixed the building-line on the south-western side at a distance of 70 ft. from north-eastern alignment of Manners Street from Willis Street to Dixon Street, the unconditional exemption of the portion from Willis Street to Cuba Street on the north-eastern side is applied for ”;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Manners Street, extending between Willis Street and Cuba Street. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72774, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
