to be an Inspector of Mines for the Nelson, Marlborough, and West Coast Mining Districts, for the purposes of the Mining Act, 1926, and its amendments, and an Inspector of Coal-mines for the purposes of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, and its amendments, as from the 28th day of July, 1928.

to be Clerk and Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Kurow, for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1908, as from the 11th day of July, 1928.
Sergeant Ernest Thomas Collingwood Turner
to be Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Waimate, for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1908, as from the 16th day of July, 1928.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section 3 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921-22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed George Edward Turney, of the Public Trust Office, Invercargill, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Invercargill, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.

NOTICE.—CLAUDE LIGHTOLLER, Esq., of Sydney, in the State of New South Wales, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, has this day been appointed by the Honourable Sir Charles Perrin Skerrett, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
