As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72176, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Regulations under the Naval Defence Act, 1913, amended.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section twenty-five of the Naval Defence Act, 1913, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby amend and supplement the regulations referred to in the Schedule hereto as shown therein.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATIONS FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND PAYMENT OF THE NEW ZEALAND DIVISION OF THE ROYAL NAVY.
Section II: Full Pay and Allowances.—Officers.
Add new Regulation No. 6A.
6A. The Captain, Royal Navy, appointed as Second Naval Member of the Naval Board shall receive the full pay of his Naval rank and, in addition, shall receive the following allowances:—
Command money at .. .. 7 0 per diem.
Entertainment allowance at .. 5 0 ,,
Provision allowance at .. .. The rates in force.
Lodging allowance at .. .. ,,

subject to the general regulations governing the payment of these allowances.

Revoking the Naturalization of Edwin Vallentine Holmberg Holmes.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1928.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS a certificate of naturalization was issued to Edwin Vallentine Holmberg Holmes on the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six: And whereas the Governor-General in Council is satisfied that it is advisable to revoke the naturalization of the said Edwin Vallentine Holmberg Holmes:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said certificate of naturalization, and hereby declare that the naturalization of the said Edwin Vallentine Holmberg Holmes shall be revoked, and that the said Edwin Vallentine Holmberg Holmes shall cease to be a British subject naturalized in New Zealand as on and from the thirtieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

Notifying Lands in Gisborne Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
TOWN LAND.
Waiapu County.—Te Puia Town.
SECTION 3, Block III: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £35.
Section 4, Block III: Area, 1 rood. Upset price, £35.
Te Puia Town is situated about eight miles from Tokomaru Bay, on the main East Coast Road. The sections offered were formerly reserved for post-office purposes, and front the main road near the Hospital and Hot Springs Reserves.
SUBURBAN LAND.
Cook County.—Ormond Suburbs.
Section 12 and Lot 2 of Section 11: Area, 17 acres 1 rood 38 perches. Upset price, £645.
Lot 1 of Section 11: Area, 2 acres 0 roods 26 perches. Upset price, £55.
The improvements on Section 12 and Lot 2 of Section 11, consisting of grassing and fencing, cottage, shed, orchard, and small bridge go with the land, and are included in the upset price. (Some sheds are not fixtures and are not included in the upset price, and the purchaser will be expected to allow reasonable time for removal or other disposition of same if required.)
The cottage on Lot 1 of Section 11 is not included in the upset price, and reasonable time after sale must be allowed for its removal if required.
The sections until recently formed the Ormond Domain. Situated close to main highway, and 30 chains from Ormond Station on Gisborne-Motuhora Railway. About 14 acres flat; balance hill. New Mahunga drain runs through sections, which are cut up by said drain and old creek. Part of the land occupied as tea-gardens. About 6½ acres of the flat is wet in winter-time and very hard in summer.
