IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section fifteen of the Government Rail-
ways Amendment Act, 1927, and of every other power and
authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands
mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby available for
sale and disposal to employees of the Government Railways
Department.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land ;
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of
the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909,
and its amendments :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the
Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, General Sir Charles
Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set
out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers under Special Tenures, in the Marlborough Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the third day
of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and
published in the Gazette of the ninth day of March then
instant, setting apart settlement land for selection by dis-
charged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule
hereto.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
SECTION 22, Wither Settlement : Area, 10 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (here-
inafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that
the land described in the Schedule hereto should be perma-
nently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give
effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said
Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

TROUNSON KAURI PARK SCENIC RESERVE.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson
County, containing by admeasurement 1,080 acres 2 roods
16 perches, more or less, being Section 33, Block XI, Waipoua
Survey District (formerly portion Lots 21 and 23, Section 2,
Block XI, Waipoua Survey District; portion Lot 10, Sec-
tion 1, Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, on D.P. 15093 ;
portion Lot 23, Section 2, Block XI, Waipoua Survey District,
on D.P. 12806 ; portion Lot 23, Section 2, Block XI, Waipoua
Survey District ; part Section 2, Block XI, Waipoua Survey
