DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned STANLEY HARTNELL and DAVID JONES, carrying on business as Auctioneers at New Plymouth, under the style or firm of "S. Hartnell and Co.," has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Stanley Hartnell, who will continue the said business under the present style of "S. Hartnell and Co."

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for confirming the reduction of the capital of the above company from £40,000 to £32,000 was, on the 11th day of July, 1928, presented to the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland, and is now pending. A list of the persons admitted to have been creditors of the company on the 11th day of July, 1928 (the date fixed by the Court in this matter), may be inspected at the offices of the company at Karangahape Road, in the City of Auckland, or at the offices of Messrs. Thorne, Thorne, White, and Clark-Walker, 14 Wyndham Street, Auckland, solicitors to the company, or at the Supreme Court office, Waterloo Quadrant, in the City of Auckland, at any time during usual business hours.
Any person who claims to have been on the last-mentioned day and still to be a creditor of the company, and who is not entered on the said list, and claims to be so entered, must, on or before the 13th day of August, 1928, send in his name and address and the nature and amount of his claim to the undersigned, at 14 Wyndham Street, in the City of Auckland, or in default thereof he will be excluded from the right of objecting to the proposed reduction of capital.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between WILLIAM BRUCE QUENNELL, ALBERT LINE QUENNELL, WILFRED BRUCE QUENNELL, and CHARLES CLIFFORD QUENNELL, all of Dunedin, Bricklayers, and LEONARD ROY QUENNELL, of Dunedin, Carpenter, carrying on business at Dunedin as Bricklayers and Contractors under the name or style of "Quennell and Company," has been dissolved as from the 31st day of January, 1928, by the retirement of the said Albert Line Quennell from the said Partnership. The remaining partners will continue to carry on the said business under the name of "W. B. Quennell and Sons."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Relief of Unemployment Loan of £2,000, 1928.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Manawatu Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Relief of Unemployment Loan of £2,000, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Manawatu Drainage Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of finding work for the unemployed and to widen, deepen, divert, straighten, put in flood-gates, and do all such other work and acts as may be necessary for improving the Mangaone Stream, the Joint Outlet, Whiskey Creek, Bourke's Drain, Boundary Drain, and Main Drain, the said Board makes and levies the special differential rates on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole Manawatu Drainage District:-
On lands classified "A" a special rate of forty-five one-thousandths (45/1000ths) of a penny in the pound sterling;
On lands classified "B" a special rate of twenty-seven one-thousandths (27/1000ths) of a penny in the pound sterling;
"On lands classified "C" a special rate of eighteen one-thousandths (18/1000ths) of a penny in the pound sterling;
and that such special differential rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Relief of Unemployment Loan, 1928.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Buckley Drainage Board resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Buckley Drainage Board for the purpose of providing work for unemployed by banking the Koputuroa Stream, the said Buckley Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of one penny (3d.) in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the Buckley Drainage District, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
