A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road;
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the eighteenth day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-eight.

Consenting under the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926,
to the Raising of a Loan by the Te Awamutu Borough
Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
July, 1928.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Local Government Loans
Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers and authorities
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby consent to the borrowing by the Te
Awamutu Borough Council of the sum of nine hundred
pounds for the purpose of meeting its liability in respect of
the adjustment of property, liabilities, contracts, and engage-
ments between it and the Waipa County Council, subject
to the following conditions :-

  1. The said sum may be borrowed for a term not exceeding
    twenty years.
  2. The Te Awamutu Borough Council shall, before borrow-
    ing the said sum or any part thereof, make provision
    for the repayment of the said sum by establishing a
    sinking fund under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926,
    and by making to such sinking fund payments at
    intervals of not more than one year, at a rate which
    shall be not less than three per centum, such pay-
    ments to be made in respect of every part of the
    said sum for the time being so borrowed and not repaid,
    and the first payment to be made not later than one
    year after the first day from which interest to the
    lender is computed on any moneys so borrowed.

    Directing Sale of Railway Land, at Kingsland, under the
    Public Works Act, 1908.

    ORDER IN COUNCIL.
    At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of
    July, 1928.
    Present:
    His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
    WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works
    Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it
    is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, pur-
    chased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act
    or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever, for any
    public work is not required for such public work the Governor-
    General may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and
    gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set
    forth in the said Act :
    Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
    the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
    the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said
    Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
    Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order
    and direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule
    hereto.
    SCHEDULE.
    APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 2·5 perches.
    Portion of railway reserve in Proclamation No. 4681 (part
    Allotment 11 of Section 10, Suburbs of Auckland),
    Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, Borough of Mount
    Albert. (S.O. 24707, blue.)
    In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
    particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39757,
    deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
    Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

    Domain.

    IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
    section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
    1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
    of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
    of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
    appoint
    Thomas Hewton,
    Bernard Patrick Moran,
    James Oddy,
    John Samuel Pearson,
    Robert James Rickerby,
    Christopher Ernest Schaffer, and
    Andrew Russell Woods
    to be the Lincoln Park Domain Board, having control of the
    land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
    appoint Thursday, the second day of August, one thou-
    sand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at eight o'clock p.m.,
    as the time when, and Coronation Library, Lincoln, as the
    place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
