OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 5, Block IV, and Section 7, Block XII, Kyeburn Survey District: Area, 847 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1928.

Land in the Otago Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land heretofore held under renewable lease, has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.


SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

SECTION 5, Block XVI, Tiger Hill Survey District Area, 4 acres 2 roods 15 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Waihi South Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 6 acres 3 roods 8·1 perches.

Being portion of Lot 2, D.P. 11998, of Section 2.

Situated in Block II, Waihi South Survey District. (S.O. 24504.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72378, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of July, 1928.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otokia Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 4 perches.

Being Crown land.

Situated in Block I, Otokia Survey District (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 72236, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of June, 1928.
