A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, at the
junction of Hutt and Onslow Roads, in the City of Welling-
ton, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter men-
tioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the eighth day of February, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 17.6 perches.
Being portion of Lot 22, D.P. 368, and being part Section 5.
Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District (Harbour
R.D.), (City of Wellington). (S.O. 1955).

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70608,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wel-
lington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured
blue.
