TOWN DISTRICT OF HUNTLY.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Huntly Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred and sixty pounds (£2,560), authorized to be raised by the Huntly Town Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of providing the share of the Board towards the cost of re-forming, metalling, and double-sealing the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway through the Huntly Town District, the Huntly Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and one-eighth of a penny (1⅛d.) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Town District of Huntly; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that I, CHARLES ZIESENES, of Otoko, near Gisborne, Farm Hand, have changed my surname to EVANS, and that in future I will use the name of “Charles Henry Evans” in the place of the name of “Charles Henry Zieseness.”

WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loan Act, the Warkworth Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purposes of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Warkworth Town Board under the above Act and the Health Act, for the purpose of purchasing land for a water-supply in the Warkworth Town District, the said Warkworth Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Warkworth Town District, and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Warkworth Town Board held on the 10th day of November, 1927.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Kawa Kawa—Orere Road 10 per Cent. Loan of £100.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and amendments (if any), and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, Orders in Council in pursuance of section 114 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and section 3 of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, having been obtained, authorizing the Council to borrow, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Kawa Kawa—Orere Road 10 per Cent. Additional Loan of £100, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of completing the metalling of the Kawa Kawa—Orere Road in the Wairoa Riding of the County of Manukau, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth (1/10th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Kawa Kawa—Orere Road Loan Special-rating Area in the Wairoa Riding of the County of Manukau, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
