Ranger under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22,
appointed.

power and authority conferred by section 35 of the
Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, the under-
mentioned person has been appointed a Ranger under and
for the purposes of that Act for the South Canterbury
Acclimatization District :—

Appointment as Ranger under the Animals Protection and Game
Act, 1921–22.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals
Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, Francis Joseph
Rolleston, Acting Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

Graham Haytor, of Greville Harbour, D'Urville Island,
to be a Ranger under the said Act for D'Urville Island.

to be Bailiff of the Magistrates' Court at Onehunga, on and
from the 1st day of May, 1928, vice Sergeant Cruickshank;
and

Constable John O'Connell
to be Bailiff of the Magistrates’ Court at Clyde, on and from
the 16th day of May, 1928, vice Sergeant J. Armstrong,
resigned.

Royal Navy, to H.M.S. “Diomede,” additional as from
date of joining, and vice Hawkes, to date 14th May, 1928.

Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander Harold Dewar Norman,
Royal Navy, to H.M.S. “Philomel,” additional, to date
15th March, 1928, and vice Bowen, to date 8th May, 1928.

Commissioned Engineer William Rochester Boiston, D.S.M.,
