DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership subsisting
between ALBERT HENRY SHAW and HERBERT LIONEL
BELL-BOOTH, and carried on at Takapuna, Auckland, as
Painters and Decorators under the style or firm of “Shaw and
Booth,” has been dissolved as from 21st January, 1927.
All claims against the partnership must be sent in to Mr.
C. H. Bishop, No. 1 Hellaby’s Buildings, Auckland, on or
before 14th February, 1927.

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Piako
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £900, authorized to be
raised by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of metalling 70 chains of Allen’s Road,
the said Piako County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of two pence and three-eighths of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property of the Allen’s Road Special-rating Area of the Piako
County, comprising all that area in the Land District of Auckland,
bounded commencing at a point in Lot 12 on deposited
plan 13350, part Maungatatapu Block, in the Maungakawa
Survey District, being 11 chains from a point on the Auckland-
Thames railway, 10 chains east from the Piako Railway-
station; towards the west by direct line to the intersecting
boundary-line between Lot 4 on deposited plan 16036 and Lot
15 on deposited plan 13350, and by the said boundary-line
and the same produced until it reaches a point 3 chains within
Lot 5 on deposited plan 13350; thence by a line west parallel
with the southern boundary of Lot 5 to a point midway to
Horrell’s Road; thence north to the centre of the northern
boundary of Lot 5; thence towards the north by the northern
boundary of Lot 5 and the northern boundary of Lot 6 on
deposited plan 13350 to the Waiharakeke Stream, and towards
the east by the said stream and by the eastern boundary of
Lot 3 on deposited plan 16036 and Lot 13 on deposited plan
13350 to the Auckland-Thames railway; thence towards
the south by a direct line to the point of commencement;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

THE following special resolution was passed on the 10th
day of February, 1927, by the same being duly written
in the minute-book and signed by all the shareholders of the

Resolved, That the company go into voluntary liquidation
and that Mr. F. J. HILL, of Messrs. Silk, Haworth, and Co.,
be appointed Liquidator.
