I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the lands described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.

Constitution and Establishment of New Zealand Army Legal Department.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby constitute and establish in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the New Zealand Army Legal Department; and I do hereby declare that such constitution and establishment shall have effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
NEW ZEALAND ARMY LEGAL DEPARTMENT.

The New Zealand Army Legal Department is hereby constituted and established as a unit of the New Zealand Military Forces.

The New Zealand Army Legal Department shall consist of such numbers of officers as may from time to time be authorized by the Minister of Defence.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 3rd day of February, 1927.

P URSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by section two hundred and eighty-eight of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, and section sixteen of the Justices of the Peace Amendment Act, 1923, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the person whose name is set out in the Schedule hereto, being a person holding office in the service of the Crown as stated opposite his name in the said Schedule, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under section two hundred and eighty-eight of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
