Constitution and Establishment of New Zealand Army Legal Department.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby constitute and establish in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the New Zealand Army Legal Department; and I do hereby declare that such constitution and establishment shall have effect as from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

NEW ZEALAND ARMY LEGAL DEPARTMENT.

1. The New Zealand Army Legal Department is hereby constituted and established as a unit of the New Zealand Military Forces.

2. The New Zealand Army Legal Department shall consist of such numbers of officers as may from time to time be authorized by the Minister of Defence.
