Capital value, £185. Deferred payments: Deposit, £9 5s.;
half-yearly instalment, £5 14s. 3d. Renewable lease: Half-
yearly rent, £3 14s.
Weighted with £20, valuation for 34 chains of fencing.
Section 128, Block I. Area: 76 acres 1 rood. Capital
value, £190. Deferred payments: Deposit, £9 10s.; half-
yearly instalment, £5 18s. Renewable lease: Half-yearly
rent, £3 16s.
Weighted with £30, valuation for 59½ chains of fencing.
Situated two miles and a half from Roxburgh by a good
road. Commanded by water-race from Teviot. Land rather
light and gravelly. Suitable for growing lucerne or fruit
trees. This land was formerly the Roxburgh Racecourse.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS.
- The right is reserved to the Crown to take or construct
water-races and to lay pipes in connection therewith over any
portion of the lands, without payment of compensation. - The successful applicants will be required to take water
from races provided for irrigation purposes, at a price to be
fixed by the Crown. - The Crown will not be liable for any damage caused by
any overflow or break-away of any race or channel.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Wednesday, the sixteenth day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-seven, as the time at which the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public
auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I hereby fix
the price at which the said land shall be sold as that
mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Lake County.—Town of Queenstown.
SECTIONS 1, 2, 18, 19, and 38: Area, 1 acre 0 rood 14 perches.
Upset price, £760.
This land occupies one of the very best sites in Queens-
town, being alongside the Gardens and adjacent to the main
road. It is in the best residential portion, well drained,
with good aspect. An ideal site for an up-to-date hotel.
Special Condition.
The contract for sale does not include any fencing or other
improvements on the property.

Weighted with £5 valuation for fencing.
Section 7, Block XXX: Area, 1 rood 12 perches. Upset
price, £560.
This section contains buildings comprising a seven-roomed
house, coal-house, and store-room, the dwelling being previ-
ously used as the post-office. The price of the buildings is
included in the upset price of the land.
Description.
These sections are situated in the best business portion of
the town, alongside each other. Good level building-sites.
The buildings on Section 7, comprising the dwellinghouse,
are fairly old, but are at present let to a tenant.
