Portion of Florence Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of August, 1927

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the portion of street affected by such resolution being more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to all that portion of Florence Street extension beginning at a point approximately 344 links from its intersection with Gordon Street, and extending for a distance of 50 links, being the whole of the road fronting Lot 13, D.P. 347, part Town Section 994, City of Wellington”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the portion of Florence Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Florence Street, abutting on Lot 13, D.P. 347, and part Town Section 995. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68784, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern Side of Portion of Glen Road, and the North-western Side of Portion of Haywood Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, the portions of streets affected by such resolution being described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :—

“That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the undermentioned portions of Glen Road and Haywood Street in the City of Dunedin, viz. : (a) Portion of the north-eastern side of Glen Road, where the same abuts on part of Section 5, Block VI, Town District ; and (b) portion of the north-western side of Haywood Street, where the same abuts on part of Section 5, Block VI, Town District ; and the said portions of Glen Road and Haywood Street are more particularly shown by brown colour on the plan annexed hereto ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting either the north-eastern side of the portion of Glen Road or the north-western side of the portion of Haywood Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

THE north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Glen Road, and the north-western side of all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city known as Haywood Street, fronting part Section 5, Block VI, Town District. As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 70037, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured brown.

Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Whangamomona County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for cemetery purposes : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangamomona :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangamomona, in trust, for cemetery purposes.

Vesting a Reserve in the Matamata Town Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1927.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a site for a fire brigade station : And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Matamata Town Board.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Matamata Town Board, in trust, as a site for a fire brigade station.
