At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
James Ashton,
George Berkley Hickman,
Charles Augustus Lahnert,
George Lucas,
James Manson,
Philip McManaway, and
Godfrey Oliver Rutherford
to be the Hanmer Springs Domain Board, having control of
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Friday, the twenty-eighth day of October, one thou-
sand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at seven thirty o'clock
p.m., as the time when, and the Hanmer Hall, as the place
where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act,
1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby ex-
tend the hour at which a poll to be held and taken in the
Papatoetoe Town District on the twenty-fifth day of October,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, shall close, to
seven o'clock in the afternoon of the day appointed.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £5,000 by the Whangaroa
County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
October, 1927.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Whangaroa County Council has obtained,
in terms of section fourteen of the Local Government
Loans Board Act, 1926, exemption from the requirements
of that Act in respect of the Whangaroa and Totara North
Wharves Construction Loan of five thousand pounds :
And whereas application has been made under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the
precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, to
enable the said local authority to borrow the said sum, and
it is expedient that such precedent consent should issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loan of five thousand
pounds by the Whangaroa County Council, and it is hereby
declared that this Order in Council is made under the pro-
visions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall
operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General
in Council to the raising of the said loan.

Varying a Condition as to setting back the Building-line of the
Western, North-western, and North-eastern Sides of Portion
of Creswick Terrace, in the City of Wellington, imposed by
an Order in Council under Section 117 of the Public Works
Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
October, 1927.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council
dated the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-six, and published in Gazette No. 45, of
the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
six, exempting the western, north-western, and north-eastern
sides of portion of Creswick Terrace, in the City of Wellington,
from the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of
the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to the condition that no
building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on
the western, north-western, or north-eastern sides of the
portion of the said Creswick Terrace, fronting Lot 17, D.P.
108, being part Section 32, Karori District, within a distance
of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of
Creswick Terrace, by varying the said condition with regard
to the building-line so that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the western, north-western,
or north-eastern sides of the said portion of Creswick Terrace
within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of
the said portion of Creswick Terrace.

The Southern Side of Portion of Bulkeley Terrace, in the Borough
of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section
117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as
to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
October, 1927.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCEY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the fifteenth
day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven,
the portion of street affected by such resolution being more
particularly described in the Schedule hereto, viz. :-
“ That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the
local authority having control of the street hereinafter
mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions
of section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of
the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion
of the southern side of Bulkeley Terrace to which part
Section 18, New Plymouth, has frontage” ;
