Borough Public Convenience Loan of £1,500, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Stratford Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of—(a) A building to be used as a public convenience for women, containing two rest-rooms, a dressing-room with two washbasins supplied with hot and cold water, and provided with not less than two water-closets; (b) a building to be used as a public convenience for men, containing not less than three water-closets and four urinal stalls—the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth (1/14th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Stratford, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE AUCKLAND AND SUBURBAN DRAINAGE BOARD.

SPECIAL ORDER.

Loan No. 7, £25,000.

The Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board doth hereby by special order, in terms of section 62 of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, determine to borrow the sum of twenty-five thousand pounds sterling (£25,000).

THE foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, convened by requisition of the chairman, dated the 23rd day of October, 1925, and held on the 29th day of October, 1925. It was publicly notified in the New Zealand Herald on the 3rd and 17th days of November, 1925, and the 1st day of December, 1925, and the Auckland Star on the 10th and 24th days of November, 1925, and the 1st day of December, 1925. It was confirmed at a special meeting of the Board convened by resolution of the Board on the 29th day of October, 1925, and held on the 2nd day of December, 1925.

HUTT VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150,000, authorized to be raised by the Hutt Valley Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of distributing electrical energy in the Hutt Valley Electric-power District, the said Hutt Valley Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen twenty-fifths (17/25) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Hutt Valley Electric-power District, on the basis of the unimproved value, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September and 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting held in the Union Bank Chambers on the 21st December, 1926, the following resolution was carried, viz.:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that there is no prospect of the company being successful, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Acts, 1908, and that Mr. F. E. Feist be appointed Liquidator.”
