Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Auckland
of a Width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 54 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day of
January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of the street
coloured pink on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto
of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty-four
feet, within the area described in the Schedule hereto, it
being difficult and inexpedient to lay off a street of a width
of sixty-six feet within such area.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the North Auckland Land District,
City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres
0 roods 6·7 perches, being part Allotment 20, Section 7,
Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68018, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.

of January, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE G. J. ANDERSON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for street purposes.

taken:—

Bringing certain Provisions of the Mining Act into Force within
certain Parts of New Zealand.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day
of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section four hundred and fourteen, subsection one, of the Mining Act, 1926, it is provided that the Governor-General, by Order in Council, may from time to time declare that any of the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas, and also define the districts within which any such Order in Council shall take effect.

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said section four hundred and fourteen, subsection one, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, set out in the First Schedule hereto shall apply to prospecting and mining for and the storage of petroleum and other mineral oils and of natural gas within the districts described in the Second Schedule hereto.

District, Rodney and Otamatea Counties, to be Government
Roads.

of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portions of main highway described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of gazetting of this Order
in Council, become Government Roads.


SCHEDULE.

WAYBY-MAUNGATUROTO: All that portion of the Wayby-Maungaturoto Main Highway commencing at its junction with the Waiwera-Mangawai Main Highway at Wayby,
