Maioro Survey District, Franklin County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir
Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the
land in Maioro Survey District described in the First Sche-
dule hereto ; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road
described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road :
1 acre 2 roods 33 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 64, Waiuku East Parish ; coloured
red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 2 acres 0 rood
2 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotment 64, Waiuku East
Parish ; coloured green.
All situated in Block III, Maioro Survey District (Auck-
land R.D.). (S.O. 23927.)
All in the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
67796, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
January, 1927.

Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Waitara
Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and
also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the
Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road :
1 acre 0 roods 10 perches.
Being portion of Section 15 ; coloured pink.

All in the Taranaki Land District ; as the same are more

coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Cost of certain Proceedings under Section 132 of the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Borough of Otaki.—

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day
of January, 1927.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one
hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations
Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby direct that the Otaki Borough Council shall
defray all the costs of the Commission appointed under the
said Act by a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the
Governor-General dated the first day of November, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to inquire and
report upon the proposal contained in the petition of A. J.
Fogden and others to exclude a certain area from the
Borough of Otaki and to include such area in the County of
Horowhenua.

Council to erect Electric Lines in the City of Nelson.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 31st day
of January, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE G. J. ANDERSON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him
by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of
every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council
dated the seventeenth day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-three, published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 7, of the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-three, authorizing the Nelson City
Council to erect electric lines in the City of Nelson, by adding
to clause one of the said Order in Council the following words,
viz. :—
“Provided, nevertheless, that the licensee, without in-
curring liability or obtaining authority to supply electric
energy to any other private consumers outside the said area,
is hereby authorized to supply electric energy in bulk to the
Waimea Electric Supply and Manufacturing Company
