and terminating at its junction with the Port Albert–Wellsford
Main Highway, at Wellsford, passing through the County of
Rodney, being a distance of three miles, more or less, and
marked Ff–Gg on plan.

Also all that portion of the said main highway commencing
at its junction with the Kaiwaka–Mangawai Highway at
Kaiwaka, and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly
direction, and terminating at its junction with Tramline
Road, passing through the County of Otamatea, being a dis-
tance of two miles and a quarter, more or less, and marked
Hh–Ii on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.H. 45, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon coloured blue.

THE HONOURABLE G. J. ANDERSON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
such land being no longer required for the public work for
which it was acquired.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold:
1 rood. Being portion of Section 21, Block VIII, Maketu
Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 18293.)

In the Auckland Land District. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67605,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Normanby Street in the Borough of St. Kilda exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 25th day
of January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the St. Kilda Borough Council on the twenty-
second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-six, viz:—

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested
in it in that behalf by section one hundred and seventeen of
the Public Works Act, 1908, the St. Kilda Borough Council,
as and being the local authority having control of Nor-
manby Street, hereby resolves and declares that the
provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen
of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the
following and specified portion of the said Normanby
Street—namely, the portion thereof fronting the sub-
division of Allotments 7 and part 6, Block 23, Mussel-
burgh ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern
side of the portion of Normanby Street (described in the
Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the
Otago Land District, Borough of St. Kilda, known as
Normanby Street, fronting Lot 7, D.P. 705, Block XXIII,
Township of Musselburgh. As the said portion of street is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
67736, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Crosby Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 31st day of
January, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE G. J. ANDERSON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the fifteenth
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
six, viz.:—

“That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby
resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and
seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply
to all that portion of the northern side of Crosby Street
in the City of Dunedin where the same abuts on Allot-
ments 20, 21, 22, and 23 (L.T.P. 271), being parts of
Sections 72 and 73, Block VI, Town District, as the said
portion of Crosby Street is more particularly shown by
brown colour on the plan hereunto annexed ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern
side of the portion of Crosby Street (described in the
Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in
the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Crosby
Street, fronting Allotments 20, 21, 22, and 23 (L.T.P. 271),
being parts of Sections 72 and 73, Block VI, Town District.
As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 67465, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wel-
ington Land District, and thereon coloured brown.
