Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, and Transfers of Officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Military Forces.

STAFF.

The undermentioned officer, on exchange from British Army in India, having left New Zealand on return to India, relinquishes the local rank of Captain. Dated 2nd September, 1927.

Lieutenant (local Captain) F. J. Dillon, M.C., Royal Artillery.

Colonel A. T. Markman, N.Z. Corps of Signals, relinquishes the appointment of Director of Signals, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (a). Dated 1st September, 1927.

1st N.Z. MOUNTED RIFLES (CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY).

Lieutenant C. R. Creswell, having complied with paragraph 141, General Regulations, 1927, his original seniority is restored—viz., 19th December, 1925. Dated 5th September, 1927.
