Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street in the Borough of [Mount] Albert at Kingsland.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of the land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be under the control of the Mount Albert Borough Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 29·4 perches, 8·9 perches, 1 acre 1 rood 5·3 perches, and 1·1 perches.

Portions of railway reserve, Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, Borough of Mount Albert. (S.O. 24231, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39339, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of August, 1927.

Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

SECTION 19s, Hikuai Settlement: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 25 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of September, 1927.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Tautara Papakainga and Haroharo-Oihoeka Blocks to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, duly laid off as road-lines, in pursuance of section forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as public roads:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as roads:—

8 0 2 Portion of Tautara Papakainga Block; coloured red.
0 2 35 Haroharo-Oihoeka No. 8 Block; coloured blue.

Situated in Block IX, Rotoma Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1467, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2232, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of September, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Ongarue Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre.

Portion of riverbank reserve, adjoining Section 5, Block VI, Ongarue Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1441, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2233, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of August, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 105, set apart by Proclamation dated the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and gazetted on the third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
